Utilising various steel cutting machines as part of our in-house fabrication process.
At Herzog Steel, we are equipped with a variety of steel cutting machines at both of our branch locations, capable of handling a wide range of steel products, including steel/GAL pipes, steel channels, rods, rectangular hollow sections (RHS) and square hollow sections (SHS).
Our machines include:
- Behringer SLB 230: Ideal for small cutting jobs, this machine handles materials up to 100mm in thickness.
- MEP Band Saw 452: Used for small cutting jobs at our Mitchell, this machine handles materials up to 100mm in thickness.
- Peddinghaus Meba 600 & 1100 DG Steel Cutters: These state-of-the-art machines are designed for large, complex fabrication projects, cutting materials up to 335mm in thickness and accommodating various cutting angles.
- Idira Hydraulic Guillotine Sheers: Perfect for cutting metal sheets up to 3mm thick and lengths of 2.5 metres.
- QickCut Oxy Cutter: Suitable for cutting metal plates greater than 6mm in thickness to the required dimensions.
- Peddimaster: Used for not only for cutting 120 x 120 x 10 sized angles to various lengths, but for punching 6-24mm holes into metal flat bars.
- Bondek Guillotine: Used for cutting Bondek material to the required lengths.
Any off cuts that maybe useful to our customers are kept. So there maybe small sizes of materials that we have that will save you buying full lengths of the product. These are perfect for the jobs/projects that require small quantities.
